Our story

Honest rehab, in the suburb we grew up in.

Rehab N Run is a Liverpool NSW physiotherapy clinic founded on two ideas: Ihsan, doing every job with excellence, and Amanah, treating your trust as a responsibility. Everything else flows from that.

Why we started Rehab N Run

We grew up in South-West Sydney. We trained as physios in South-West Sydney. And we saw the same pattern in clinic after clinic — rushed appointments, generic exercise sheets, patients drifting from one practitioner to the next because no one really took the time to figure out what was wrong.

So we started Rehab N Run in Liverpool with a simple promise: when you book in with us, you get the time you need, the diagnosis you deserve, and a plan you can actually follow. No 15-minute drive-bys. No printouts that go in the bin. No "let's just see how it goes."

The name is deliberate. Rehab is what we do in clinic — the assessment, the hands-on work, the load progression. Run is what you do when we're done — back to your sport, your job, your kids, your life. The whole point of the work is the day you walk out and don't need us anymore.

What we believe

Three things, mostly, and we hold ourselves accountable to them every appointment.

  • Ihsan — do every job with excellence. That means proper assessment before any treatment, evidence-based interventions, and no shortcuts because we're running late. If we don't have time to do it well, we won't do it.
  • Amanah — your trust is a responsibility. If physio isn't the right answer, we'll tell you. If you need a scan, a surgical opinion, a podiatrist, a strength coach — we'll point you there. The goal is your recovery, not our diary.
  • The Dynamic Systems Approach. We treat your body as a learning system, not a machine to be "corrected." We build training environments — varied loads, surfaces, speeds and contexts — that let your body find its own most efficient way to move. Rehab that holds up in the real world, not just on a clinic mat.
  • Keep it simple, trust the process. Five exercises you'll actually do beats fifteen you won't. Recovery isn't about doing everything at once — it's about doing the right things consistently. We design plans for the life you have, not the one you wish you had.
Recovery is rarely complicated. It just needs someone honest enough to tell you the truth, and patient enough to walk you through it.

Who we are

There are two physios behind Rehab N Run, both deeply embedded in the local Liverpool community.

Abdulla Omar, Physiotherapist and Co-Founder of Rehab N Run Liverpool

Abdulla Omar

Physiotherapist · Co-Founder

Co-founder of Rehab N Run, with a clinical passion for post-surgical rehabilitation — particularly the knee. ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, total knee replacement: these are the cases Abdulla lives for. He brings deep clinical knowledge of post-op load progression and a runner's lived experience of what return-to-sport actually feels like.

Fawad Faheem, Physiotherapist and Co-Founder of Rehab N Run Liverpool

Fawad Faheem

Physiotherapist · Co-Founder

Co-founder of Rehab N Run with a particular focus on post-operative rehabilitation — especially knee surgery. Fawad guides patients through the brutal early weeks of post-op load progression and stays with them all the way through to return-to-sport clearance. Known for taking the time to explain exactly what's going on with a patient's body. Bilingual (English / Arabic / Urdu).

How we work

What an appointment with us actually looks like

First appointments are 30 or 60 minutes — your choice depending on complexity — and you walk out with both an assessment and treatment, not just a diagnosis. Here's what you can expect.

  • 1
    We listen first.

When did it start, what makes it worse, what have you already tried, what do you actually want to get back to. The story matters as much as the scan.

  • 2
    We assess properly.

Hands-on testing. Movement quality. Strength. Sport-specific load tests where relevant. We explain what we're testing and why.

  • 3
We tell you what's wrong — in plain English.

No jargon walls. You leave the first session knowing exactly what's going on and how we'll fix it.

  • 4
We build a plan you can stick to.

Treatment plus a home program designed for your real life. Exercise videos sent to your phone. Progress reviewed at every visit.

Rooted in the Liverpool community

We're not a chain. We're not a franchise. The clinic sits on Hume Highway because that's where our community is — Liverpool, Casula, Moorebank, Chipping Norton, Cabramatta, Lurnea, Warwick Farm. We see local runners, weekend footballers, tradies, teachers, students, parents, grandparents. Our patient list looks like our suburb.

We treat people from every background and every faith. Our team speaks English, Arabic, and Urdu. We perform Hijama (wet cupping) in a clean clinical environment for patients who want it as part of their care — and we treat the practice with the same clinical rigour we bring to any other intervention.

When we say we're a Liverpool clinic, we mean it. We're here for the long haul.

Come and see what we mean.

The best way to understand how we work is to book an appointment. Same-week availability, open 7 days, HICAPS on the spot.
