Physio for Narellan, Mount Annan & Macarthur

Macarthur-region patients drive to Liverpool for one reason: the clinical work they need isn't easy to find closer to home. Post-surgical knee specialty, properly-loaded return-to-sport programs, multilingual care, and a team that doesn't book three patients into the same hour.

Why Narellan patients travel for physio

Narellan, Mount Annan and the wider Macarthur region cover some of South-West Sydney's most established premium suburbs. The patient profile we see from this area skews older, more affluent, and more committed to recovery: post-hip-replacement patients in their 60s who want to get back to golf and walking the dogs, weekend cyclists with a chronic Achilles, parents of teenagers playing competitive Camden football, builders and tradies with shoulder reconstructions.

The common thread: they've usually been to a closer physio first. They left feeling underwhelmed. They started looking for someone who'd take the time to actually figure out what was wrong and build a real plan.

What Macarthur patients book in for

  • Post-surgical hip and knee rehab. Total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, ACL reconstruction. We have dedicated content on each of these (linked in the sidebar) because these are the cases that fill our books.
  • Return-to-sport programs. If you're rehabbing toward a specific goal — getting back to running, lifting, club football, a marathon — the protocols and load progressions matter. We build them around the sport, not a generic template.
  • Sports physiotherapy for masters athletes. Achilles tendinopathy, hamstring strains, lower back pain in lifters, hip pain in cyclists. The 40-to-65-year-old who isn't ready to stop training.
  • Hijama. Narellan and the surrounding Camden area has a growing Muslim community travelling to us for Hijama because we perform it clinically, with single-use sterile equipment and proper assessment.
  • Multilingual care. English, Arabic, Urdu and Tamil if needed.

Getting here from Narellan

The straight run: Camden Valley Way north all the way to the M5 intersection, then continue onto Hume Highway north and we're on the western side at Shop 4C in the Reilly Centre. In normal traffic it's 25 to 32 minutes door to door.

Peak hour reality check: Camden Valley Way northbound between 7am-9am is busy, and southbound between 4pm-6pm is worse. We have weekend appointments, mid-morning and early-afternoon slots that avoid both peaks. Most of our Narellan patients book Saturday mornings, Sunday mornings, or weekday 10am-2pm.

Free parking is available directly outside Shop 4C. No street parking, no time limits, no Westfield car park rigmarole.

Is the drive worth it?

For a one-off muscle strain, probably not. For anything you're going to be rehabbing for more than three or four weeks — post-op, chronic injury, return-to-sport build — patients consistently tell us the drive becomes irrelevant once the rehab is working. The alternative they tried locally usually wasn't working.

Telehealth is also an option for the in-between weeks. Many Narellan patients do their initial assessment in-clinic, then mix in-person visits with telehealth follow-ups to manage the drive.
